En la última comida de amigos, en la sobremesa no faltó el tema series Netflix.

No te puedo recomendar ninguna de las que enunciaron, porque no memoricé los nombres.

No lo hice, por dos razones:

uno, por mala memoria (bendito móvil que puedo apuntar todo aquello que me interesa recordar dentro de 10 minutos)

dos, porque a mi pregunta de si está la serie completa, me comentaron que no.

Sí, ya veo qué cara has puesto, la misma que pusieron mis amigos, la de no me lo puedo creer, —¿tú no ves series?— me preguntan.

Sí, si veo series.

A la hora de comer, si como sola, del canal Divinity, esas que repiten una y otra vez, pero que son capítulos aislados, aunque haya una trama de personajes por detrás y que puedes apagar la tele en cuanto has terminado con el café sin sentimiento de culpabilidad.

Este tipo de series que visualizo, resuelven asesinatos, el final está dentro de esos 45 minutos, no tengo que esperar dos meses o más a saber quién es el asesino, bueno a excepción de “El Mentalista”, que te enteras de quién es John el Rojo al final del final, en fin, pero durante los capítulos que se han sucedido uno detrás de otro, matan a alguien y encuentran al que lo ha hecho, punto fin.

Y todo esto porqué te lo cuento.

Porque si eres de los míos y en las últimas reuniones te has sentido bicho raro por no tener Netflix, no te sientas mal.

Es más, NO estar enganchado a una serie, realmente tiene más ventajas de las que te imaginas, ese tiempo lo puedes dedicar a:

  • Leer o formarte en aquello que puede sumar a tu carrea profesional.
  • Hacer esas llamadas a personas con las que hace tiempo no hablas, pero quieres saber cómo les va.
  • Cocinar. Preparas algo saludable que rellene tu tupper del día siguiente.
  • Salir a andar. Mueves el corazón.
  • Revisar los niveles de líquidos de tu coche. Nada de lavar que estamos en sequía.
  • Borrar los memes infinitos de tu móvil que lleva dos semanas avisándote que no te queda memoria.
  • Coser ese botón de esa camisa que tanto te gusta y que lleva sin salir del cesto de la ropa para planchar dos meses.
  • Salir a buscar un regalo para el cumpleaños de tu madre, que la pobre ya no sabe dónde poner tantas plantas.

Aunque no te lo creas, todo eso es lo que dejamos de hacer por querer vivir ocultos de nuestra verdadera vida y de la que nos quejamos todos los días por no tener tiempo.

Te ayudo a salir de la caverna.

P.D. Somos seres sociales por naturaleza, esto ya lo decía Aristóteles. Si vas contra natura (sometido a una pantalla), te estás perdiendo tu propia serie. Esta es a la que de verdad te tienes que enganchar.
