Hace unas semanas, buscando el canal de televisión que facilitase mi sueño previo a irme a la cama, paré en uno, en el que una famosa estaba siendo entrevistada, era una cantante, pero no recuerdo su nombre.

De entre algunas de las preguntas que se le hacía, había algunas de esas de:

—¿mar o montaña?—

—¿verano o invierno?—

—¿Madrid o Barcelona?—

Hace muchos unos años, me encantaban esas preguntas.

Hacía un montón de test de esos que aparecen en la Cosmopolitan de: ¿podrías tener TDAH?, averigua cómo es tu hombre ideal o ¿a qué serie perteneces según tu personalidad?.

A día de hoy sigo creyendo en ellos (no en los de Cosmopolitan), sigo creyendo en todas aquellas fórmulas que te ayuden a conocerte mejor, a saber qué es lo que quieres, porque lo que no quieres, la mayor parte de las personas lo tenemos bastante claro.

Pero en lo que sí he cambiado es en tener que escoger.

¿Por qué?, ¿porqué tenemos que decidirnos entre una cosa u otra?

¿Nos hace ser mejor personas?

¿Nos ayuda a ser más felices?

¿Nos ayuda a alcanzar nuestras metas?

Pues no, nada de eso.

Lo que más te enriquece es probar todo aquello que es desconocido y después decidir si te gusta o no te gusta, y si te gustan muchas cosas, el único problema que te vas a encontrar es tener el tiempo para disfrutar de ello.

Me encanta la playa en verano, pero la montaña en primavera.

Me encantan las noches del verano y adoro los domingos de sol de invierno.

De entre Madrid y Barcelona, pero también me quedo con Londres o Florencia o Múnich…

Te resumo.

No debemos escoger, podemos disfrutar de todo lo que nos rodea, sin sentirnos culpables de lo que dijimos cuando éramos adolescentes. Nos podemos retractar.

Sal de la caja, de tu caja sobre comidas, países o personas.

Te sorprenderá descubrir cómo otras culturas y otras comidas, pueden hacer competencia a la pizza y las hamburguesas.

Seguro que esto que te cuento te hace sentirte más libre y me necesitas para disfrutarlo, pero si aún te quedan dudas, aquí me tienes.

P.D. Esto no implica que no sigas teniendo tus grandes pasiones. Te tengo que reconocer que Gaudí es la mía. 😉.
